Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
The post holder is responsible for providing business focussed and best practice support in a stand-alone role reporting to the Senior Administration Manager on a range of HR related matters covering the whole of the employee life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities
• To be the main point of contact for HR enquiries from both internal and external customers.
• Maintain employee personnel files, ensuring files are kept up to date and are legally compliant.
• Oversee local recruitment activities, including candidate attraction, shortlisting, interviewing and outcome stages. Ensuring pre-employment checks are carried out on preferred candidates and that offered candidates have the right to work in Slovakia.
• Assist with the induction of new employees into the business, communicating details of new employees to the business in a timely manner and providing a first day HR induction.
• Promote and advise on all employee benefits liaising with providers when required.
• Manage the probationary process, ensuring probationary reviews are conducted within a timely manner by the appropriate manager, providing guidance and documentation where necessary.
• To ensure that all employee payroll information is accurate and submitted to payroll by the designated payroll deadlines.
• Oversee the leavers process, including issuing of relevant correspondence, conducting exit interviews with employee’s who have resigned from the organisation and providing leavers information to payroll.
• To contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation.
• Coach and support managers on matters such as disciplinary, capability and grievance matters, escalating more complex issues to the Senior Administration Manager.
• Attend disciplinary and grievance hearings as and when required, ensuring that appropriate notes are taken and written up post hearing.
• Design and draft non-standard correspondence.
• Monitor absence and provide guidance to managers in regards to absence trigger points. Liaising with occupational health regarding long-term absence cases.
• Produce timely management information as requested.
• To promote a culture of working safely, challenge unsafe working practices and escalating concerns to the appropriate manager and on-site Health & Safety representatives.
• To be prepared to support and undertake any other reasonable requests made by the organisation.
• Coordination of H&S policies, strategy with external support
