Job description, responsibilities and duties

Your challenge:
• Operations management of our new green field plant in Nitra
• Drive performance of the site in relation to key measures for all areas – Press area, Weld area, Planning, Maintenance and Die Maintenance
• Build and lead the team of 25 employees (first wave of expansion)
• Ensure that all team leaders are delivering on their objectives and performing at the highest level possible
• Establish and support a training and Continuous improvement Roadmap deliverables and ensure that a regular review is held with the key contributors
• Efficient Capacity planning (in collaboration with Engineering & New Model)

Skills and Requirements:
• Along with a relevant degree in Engineering or similar level experience, you'll have a proven track record in Plant Management within a fast paced Automotive Manufacturing environment

• Working knowledge of automotive quality tools and systems, including QS9000, ISO14001 and TS1694
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement tools with demonstrable results
• Experience of leadership and management of a diverse production Team within a fast paced and challenging environment
• Knowledge of annual budget preparation manpower & capacity planning.
• You'll possess and display strong Leadership abilities, and a have a personal commitment to safety.
• You'll have extensive knowledge of the practices and principals involved in Lean Manufacturing with a Stamping and Assembly production environment, and be familiar with established Problem Solving techniques and methodologies used in Process Improvement(s).5S, 5Y, 8D.
- Ideally, you'll have a strong understanding of the processes and materials used in Stampings and associated tooling maintenance methods.
- Within the assembly area, you will have a strong understanding of resistance welding and SPR joining techniques to achieve effective production management, must be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of TPM principles and implementation into the production areas.
