We are looking for you, if you are a talented and senior software developer who likes to work as technical leader and mentor in a well-structured Scrum-based product development team.

Your Next Project – FREQUENTIS NetBroker
FREQUENTIS SOLUTIONS is in charge of the development of the FREQUENTIS NetBroker product, an open standards-based software defined networking (SDN) controller tailored for air traffic management (ATM) networks. Combining real-time performance information from the network with application needs and pre-defined mitigation scenarios, it enables converged networks serving all applications – from safety-critical to administrative. It fills the technical gap between conventional IP networks and the very specific and heterogeneous requirements of different ATM applications.

Your main tasks in the project will be:
• Work closely with the responsible NetBroker product owner
• Analyse requirement specifications and design their technical implementation in the product
• Manage development process in JIRA
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers in executing their development tasks
• Implement selected development tasks yourself
• Manage unit and end-to-end tests of the product
• Ensure all work is executed according to ATM software quality assurance standards

Your Technical Skills and Knowledge
You should have minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development or desire to expand in the following technologies:
• Java 8 (IntelliJ IDEA), C/C++
• ONOS, Apache Karaf, OpenFlow communications protocol
• CISCO protocols for statistics and configuration of network devices
• Docker, GIT, Maven, Jenkins
• JIRA, JAMA requirements and test management

Our Bratislava-based company FREQUENTIS Solutions belongs to the Austrian group FREQUENIS AG (, specialized in safety-critical voice communications, for example for air traffic control towers, public safety control rooms (112) or air defense forces.
