Job description, responsibilities and duties

  • Develop and measure metrics to control current processes and evaluate the effectiveness of process improvements,
  • apply analyses to improve process capability,
  • identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and increase customer satisfaction,
  • Lead Kaizen / Lean activities in the plant,
  • Lead / manage improvement projects,
  • coach employees on how to work more efficiently,
  • help, lead employees to find root causes,
  • assist manufacturing personnel in creating relevant standards of work and ensure they are accurate and up to date.

Personality requirements and skills

Most of the work will be focussed on continuous improvement in production and logistics. Therefore knowledge or experience of lean / kaizen tools is required. Knowledge and application of Lean principles, tools, and methodologies
and influencing skills.
Demonstrated skills in self-motivated, Innovative and Systems thinker, Effective problem solving abilities, Facilitation skills to drive group participation and handle conflicts, Effective presentation and communication abilities, Flexible approach to work, Process focused and results driven.
Demonstrated ability to train/coach/mentor people through Lean methodology is required.
Good working knowledge of Excel as well as English is required.
