Infrastructure Administrator

Your role

We are looking for an Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. As an Infrastructure Administrator, you will be responsible for the tickets within the Operational Technology (OT) environment, including our virtualized environment (VMware) and Windows and Linux systems.

The role includes:

• supporting, driving and handling the tickets within the OT environment, making sure they are fixed according to standards and timeframes
• proactively monitoring security systems, including network connections and VPNs and reacting to security incidents to minimize disruptions, including daily checks and scheduled jobs and familiarity with Windows and Linux logs
• analysis and elimination of technical incidents via tickets and/or other methods
• supporting the infrastructure including 1st and 2nd level support, network issues and modifications and documentation
• supporting ongoing projects within the infrastructure (virtual machines, OS, networks, VPNs and related)

What do we expect?

• you are certified within the Information Technology area (Microsoft, VMware, Linux, Networking) with related experience or completed a degree in IT
• you have 3-5 years of related experience (same or similar position)
• you have experience with automated patch management
• you have experience with the support of VMware environments with Wintel and LAMP infrastructure
• you have experience with managing Active Directory and related products (GPOs, DNS, KMS)
• you have experience with Zabbix
• you are able to coordinate, troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis
• Splunk knowledge is an advantage
• You speak English fluently, German will be an advantage
