German-Speaking Tester

Your role

We are looking for a German-speaking tester to join the Space project of our client from the energy industry based in Germany. As a Tester, you will be responsible for manual testing of the business IT system with the probability of extending the scope into automation testing in the later stages of the project. The project deals with the implementation of local customizing of a general company solution to manage the business processes of energy providers

The role includes:

• understanding software requirements
• assisting in test planning
• designing and executing test cases
• reporting and tracking defects
• collaborating with team members
• maintaining testing documentation

What do we expect?

• you have logical thinking, creative and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during the testing process
• you have experience in software development methodologies in various setups
• you have experience in software testing (test case design, test execution and reporting)
• you understand the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing processes
• you have experience with test management tools (e.g. Zephyr Jira or similar)
• you have ISTQB certification - advantage
• you have test Automation knowledge, and identification of potential automation candidates is nice to have
• you speak German fluently
