DevOps Engineer for eMobility

Your role

For our prominent customer from eMobility area, we are looking for senior candidates to join our core team established in 2011.
E-Mobility project is platform for management, operations, monitoring and integration of charging stations for electric vehicles into company operation landscape. Electric vehicles are gaining massive momentum recently and all major automotive companies are drawing their focus there.
Successful candidate will be working with microservice architecture Spring Boot based applications running on Kubernetes AWS cloud EKS platform.

The role includes:

• create/enhance CI/CD pipelines in Gitlab for source code build, test, analysis, documentation, docker image creation, artifact storage and microservice deployment
• maintain microservices deployed on K8S (AWS EKS) platform
• maintain multiple non-prod stages (DEV, INT, QA, LOADTEST) and one PROD stage
• development of self-services (DB creation, tool access, microservice overview, reports, etc.) for developers/managers
• deployment and configuration of API Gateway routes
• create/enhance monitoring and alerting
• manage toolset for application logging and tracing
• support toolset for testing activities
• AWS networking configuration
• AWS RDS database management 
• infrastructure automation using Terraform
• backup and restore procedures

What do we expect?

• you have experience with GitLab CI, Jenkins or other continuous integration tool
• you have experience with tools used by CI/CD pipeline (Maven/Gradle, Nexus, SonarQube, Docker/Buildah)
• you are experienced in Git source code versioning
• you have a knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs
• you have experience with Linux administration and Bash scripting
• you are familiar with basic AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS)
• you have worked with Scrum methodology
• you speak English fluently
• as an advantage will be considered experience with SQL databases, Grafana, Fluentd, Loki, Tempo (or ELK stack), Prometheus, Camunda BPMN, Cypress, k6, ALM, AppDynamics, Kustomize, Helm, kubectl, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Redis and experience with JIRA or Confluence
