Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

1 600 € + variable component (mid)

1 800 € + variable component (senior)
(base salary depends on seniority, experiences and qualification of the candidate)

Your role

We are looking for you to strengthen our business crew! As a System Engineer, you will administer applications down to the operating system level and influence their further development and stabilization. Together with your team, you will accompany exciting customers on their way to digital success.

 

The role also includes:

• continuous improvement of the stability, performance and availability of specific applications
• analysis and solution of complex IT problems in the application area in 2nd level support
• carrying out maintenance work on customer IT environments
• implementation and migration of software solutions
• maintenance and support of servers and applications
• creation and maintenance of technical documentation

What do we expect?

• you have a solid professional experience in IT operations, system administration and ideally in development
• you have in-depth Linux expertise (especially Debian)
• your experience with virtualization (VMWare, KVM, Cloudstack) and container environments (Kubernetes, OKD, Openshift) will be an advantage
• experience with automation solutions such as Ansible and Puppet will be an advantage
• you have knowledge of the IT service management environment based on ITIL
• you are customer-oriented and have analytical thinking and systematic way of working
• you speak English and German fluently
