Cloud Security Specialist (f/m/d)

Position description

This role is defined as a Cloud Safety and Security Specialist for incubation cloud products. You will serve in a key role for the software development and deployment team and will be working in an agile environment.

Because of the vast scope and depth of this function, you can delegate the implementation work to the other team members (e.g. the Development Team and DevOps Team), keeping your focus on managing (definition and audit/verification).

You will report to the Director of R&D directly because of the importance of safety and security and the boundary-crossing aspects of this role.

Your first mission:

Foxit is setting up its next modern, cloud-native web + mobile application DevOps infrastructure. Your task is to make sure that it is safe & secure by design. As the infrastructure and the product grows, your scope also includes operations and customer data.

Your responsibilities:

• You’ll cover managing all three areas: prevention, detection, and mitigation
• Prevention. Together with the global Foxit Security Department, you ensure complete risk management: risk assessment, risk avoidance guidance and risk awareness training
• Detection. Using audit tools and processes as well as suitable analysis and monitoring tools, you make sure that we find vulnerabilities before others do and that we detect breaches.
• Mitigation. Handling reported and detected vulnerabilities. Handling breaches.
• Ensure Compliance: oversee audit in all three areas, against internal and external rules and policies
• Maintain different perspectives: not only what we must do, but also what customers rightfully can expect from us
• Participating in the broader SCRUM process as an internal product and service stakeholder
• Liaison partner for the Foxit Security Department.
