Náplň práce, právomoci a zodpovednosti

• be responsible for sourcing of selected categories for the Fortaco Group
• secure fulfillment of business needs related to categories
• ensure leverage of the Fortaco Group’s purchasing volume to secure right cost
• secure synergies in sourcing of products and services among Group BA/BUs
• develop sourcing strategy for selected categories and activity plans
• conduct supplier, industry and market research, process data collection and analyze of spend
• drive group negotiations, benchmark initiatives and cost ratio opportunities as well as ensure implementation of the established category strategies
• develop strong stakeholder support and cooperation on assigned categories
• manage supplier base and maintain supplier relationships; act as the lead point of contact for group commercial issues
• Support supplier development activities
• ensure commodity spend is under management and contract compliance
• support new project implementations
• support local sourcing buyers in their activities and respective contract implementations
• assist in the continuous development of the sourcing function within Fortaco Group
• follow strategic sourcing approval process and authorization levels

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

• have min. 5 years’ experience in the purchasing / sourcing preferably within automotive / industrial sector in international organizations, or min 2 years’ professional experience in purchasing management or category management
• have a proven track record in leading change or global consolidation programs
• have excellent analytical and judgment skills as well as strategic mind-set
• demonstrate ability to identify business process issues and drive process improvement
• ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders
• be a self-starter, team-player and result and solution oriented
• have cost rationalization mindset and drive to implement process and service optimizations
• be a good network builder, have the prove track-record in building well-functioning cross functional cooperation and ability to work and collaborate successfully in different cultures
• possess excellent communication and presentation skills
• be service and result-oriented and have the drive to follow through from opportunity identification to implementation
• be fluent in English, both in speaking and in writing
• have advanced MS Office skills (Excel)

As an asset:
• fluency in other EU language, both in speaking and in writing
• experience in sourcing of interior equipment for commercial vehicles of operator cabins
