Operations Expert/Project Manager

As an Operations Expert/Project Manager at foodora you will act as a constructive bridge between logistics and other departments. You will be responsible for understanding how our entire delivery operation works from vendors to rider performance. We need you to come up with operational improvement ideas and execute them. Along the way you must understand which lever to pull to steer different KPIs. We need you to be able to setup, run, and close projects of any kind.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Project proposals and optimization of existing processes - we welcome your ideas for improvement and streamlining
• Subsequent or comprehensive project management (from design to implementation) - you don't need to have any special project management certificates, we value your experience, creativity, and “can do” attitude
• Close cooperation across all of our departments (mainly Logistics, Marketing and Sales) on a broad spectrum of projects from the food delivery industry
• Supporting your colleagues from the Logistics department (in rider recruitment, rider life cycle, performance, and KPIs)

Your daily tasks will consist of:

• Identifying opportunities for process improvements within our delivery operations
• Analyzing existing workflows, identifying bottlenecks, proposing and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance
• Leading and managing end-to-end projects related to operational process improvements, system enhancements, cost optimization, and other key initiatives
• Utilizing data-driven insights to assess operational performance, identifying trends, and driving decision-making
• Analyzing operational data, including delivery metrics, customer feedback and financial reports, to identify areas for improvement and support project recommendations and business cases
• Collaborating and supporting teams across the company
• Executing projects with both local and global teams
