Job description, responsibilities and duties
Committed to excellence, we are currently looking for a high-quality individual to join our team as IT Specialist.
Location: FONA Headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia
Purpose of the role:
1. Responsibility for all tasks referring to the local IT Infrastructure (front and back office) and locally used IS Applications.
2. This position is a key stakeholder for the analysis, the design, the implementation, the operation, and the support of the local IT Infrastructure and IS Applications.
3. The focus of the role is user support, hardware and software maintenance, training and consultation. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure maximum access of users to the IT Infrastructure and services.
Responsibilities:
User Support & Service:
• Manages day-to-day user interaction
• Sets and manages user expectations
• Provide orientation to new users for Front Office IT systems (hardware, operation system, and software) and for IS Applications
• Train users about potential uses of Front Office IT systems and IS applications
• Provide individual user training and support on request
Helpdesk / Service Delivery:
• Analysis and where possible resolve issues
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
• Interacts with users and IT colleagues on all levels to help resolve IT&IS-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner
IT Infrastructure Front Office Systems:
• Install, configure, and maintain all Front Office IT Systems
• Troubleshoot all technological issues of Front Office Systems
• Maintain Front Office Systems
IT Infrastructure Back Office Systems:
• Operate and maintain back office systems (File Server, Print Server, Application Server, Backup, Communication infrastructure, etc.)
• Troubleshoot technical issues of Back Office Systems
• Monitor the availability of the Back Office Systems

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information or Technology Systems, Engineering or related fields or appropriate working knowledge
• 2-3 years experience in Information Technology
• Proven working experience in similar position
• Excellent customer service skills and interact well with other associates.
• Individual must work well under pressure and be able to multi task.
• Ability to interact well with all levels in the organization.
• Individual must be able to deal effectively with a wide variety of users and issues.
• A good working knowledge of all current Microsoft Office products and business related applications, Adobe, and McAfee.
• Individual must possess a good working knowledge of all current Front Office Hardware (personal computer, printer, handheld scanner, mobile devices, etc.)
• Excellent working knowledge of all current Microsoft operating systems (Windows 2012 Server, Windows 7, Windows 10, etc.).
• Strong working knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, and their management
• Individual must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory security, group policies, directory services, and profiles.
• A good working knowledge of Communication infrastructures (LAN, Phone, etc.)
• Individual must possess a good working knowledge of CRM, ERP and Reporting Systems.
• Individual must possess a good working knowledge of system implementation & lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and (Include role specific behaviors)
• Professional with proven ability to build appropriate relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
• Self-motivated, conscientious with a desire to exceed
• Good English languages skills in writing and speaking
• Hands-on approach and comfortable with working in a small but growing team
