Accounts Payable Specialist

Committed to excellence, we are currently looking for a high-quality individual to join our team as Accounts Payable Specialist.

Location: FONA Headquarters in Bratislava, Slovakia
Reporting line: The position reports to Accounts Payable Manager, Global Business Services, Bratislava Regional Center

Purpose of the role:
1. Processing of all vendor disbursements for assigned Dentsply Sirona business units, timely and accurately, with consistent, measurable compliance with the corporate policies governing Accounts Payable
2. Ensure that all incoming supplier invoices for all assigned business units are recorded accurately and completely, and within defined deadlines
3. Continuously focus on process improvements, growth in efficiency, and partner with other team members to expedite projects driven by these goals.

Responsibilities:
 Process accounts payable invoices and payment requests in accordance with policies and procedures as assigned by specific role definition
 Process vendor payments in coordination with established Funds Forecasts and schedules in accordance with policies and procedures as assigned by specific role definition
 Interact with division personnel (purchasing, receiving, department heads, etc.) for routine vendor process-related matters.
 Answer vendor inquiries within one business day whenever possible, or make allowance to refer caller to another associate.
 Provide journal entries to accrue unrecorded accounts payable charges, both trade and intercompany, to General Accounting Group monthly.
 Provide Open Trade Accounts Payable reports as of month-end to General Accountant for account reconciliation.
 Cross-train with personnel in other functional areas, as required.
 Review quarterly cross-divisional invoice audits as assigned. Notify Accounts Payable Manager of any unusual Accounts Payable activity.
 Other special projects as assigned.
