ROLE INTRODUCTION
The position requires someone who is lazy to do TOIL work and rather scripts through manual tasks, who is team player, comfortable with troubleshooting and debugging unknown, expert in Windows server operating systems. Other technologies are advantage like Linux server, K8S. Knowledgeable in available support tools and emerging technologies as well as all functional areas in IT organization. Strong understanding of how technology relates to business, market and industry and applies such knowledge to support the needs of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Platform engineering and build of Windows servers as a platform - (Currently in scope ~2000 Windows servers)
- Understanding daily maintenance, monitoring, problem resolution and internal customer/development support
- Monitor and maintain servers security.
- Incident and Change management to keep the environment healthy.
- Root cause analysis of production-related issues
- Automation or manual & repeatable tasks, creation of self healing solution.
- On-call for production environment on a rotation basis
- Backup and recovery strategy
- Understanding AD, High Availability availability concepts in which fashion the Prod environment need to be build.

Job Requirements:
• An extensive background in IT support within the Windows server environment
• Solid windows server skills (2K12 - 2K22 ) for complex OS management
• Windows automation scripting or programing
• Administration knowledge about technology AD DS like FSMO roles, domain trusts, replication topology, GPOs , DC host maintenance, Backup/recovery
• Advanced server host troubleshooting skills, performance analysis, issue debugging
• Provide support for the application teams and customers with OS-related issues during the pre-production or in-production phases.
• On-call for production systems a rotation basis

Hands on experience:
• 3+ years' work experience programming a Windows automation scripts in PowerShell or Python or windows batch
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Troubleshooting Windows performance and utilization
• Maintain OS System Security and resolving security vulnerabilities
• Basic knowledge about VMware infrastructure and managing virtual machines
• Knowledge of MS windows clustering and PKI in general
• Proficiency in English, good communication skills and positive attitude


NICE TO HAVE:
• Familiar with MS Azure or Amazon AWS cloud infrastructure
• MS MECM or SCCM
• Basics about Splunk queries
• Basic network analyzing skills via Wireshark or Microsoft Network Monitor
• Project management experience
• Awareness of current standards and trends in IT :)

Wage (gross)

2 500 EUR/monthBase salary starts from 2500,-EUR. Final salary depends on candidate‘s previous experience.
