It’s an exciting time to join First Data! As we continue to grow and win new projects we are looking to hire driven and passionate developers in to our team in Bratislava.
• Work on embedded software design and implementation on Ingenico Telium2 and Tetra platform to deliver state of the art POS application based on new NEXO standard and work on updates for existing SPDH application.
• Software development of payment applications and additional value added services primary on Ingenico Terminal platform.
• Designs and develops computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on user defined requirements.
• Writes code, programs, tests, and analyzes new application software.
• Working closely with internal testing team and operations if issues occur in production to solve problems.
• Performs additional job duties as required.
• Complying to all security related standards needed in payment industry like PCI.
• Helping integrate the solution into First Data landscape and support surrounding teams during testing phase.
• Executing changes according First Data change policies.
• Gaining detailed knowledge of Europe wide NEXO standard.

• C and C+ coding experience
• Good working knowledge of standard tools like: Git, Gerrit, Jira, Confluence for standard software development lifecycle
• Experience of working within Linux environment would be an advantage
• Knowledge of card transaction processing and POS terminals is a beneficial – including NEXO
• A team player and with the ability to work with international teams locally and remotely
• Fluency in English is essential
