For the purpose of this request, we are looking for a skilled software engineer, ideally with at least some familiarity with traditional financial technology, who will help us with our mission.
We appreciate beautiful and easy to understand code, prefer working ith types (even in python), and the ability to work on your own initiative.
We think looking at your past projects is worth more than a thousand words. If you worked on open source projects, or you have ones of your own, this is a strong plus for you. We are looking for someone who enjoys programming.
The successful candidate would join our existing team, which collaborates through a decentralized, and a very horizontal hierarchy.

Required skills:
- Education: at minimum Bachelor/Master in quantitative finance, computer science, math, applied physics, engineering, or similar analysis focused type of degree.
- Experience: full time programming, 3+ years
Programming languages: C#, Python, SQL (can also be MySQL, etc)
- Language: fluent in English, all communications across our current 3 time-zones are in English. For communication we use mainly Slack, WhatsApp and Skype.
Nice to have qualities/skills
- Education: PhD in quantitative finance, computer science, math, applied physics, engineering, or similar analysis focused type of degree.
- Any level of (quantitative) trading experience a strong plus
- Experience with implementing system architectures in cloud platforms such as AWS, VULTR, Azure, Google Cloud
- Experience and good understanding with standard technology protocols and their implementations such TCP, UDP, HTTPS as well as their underlying/derived technologies
- Programming languages (in addition to required): C++, Rust
