A growing young FinTech company from New York City is looking for an junior/senior, self motivated and passionate Software Tester. You have one-in-the-life-time opportunity to contribute to an analytical software platform that is already being used by trades on Wall Street.

What you will do:
Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies write well-structured test plans, test cases and bug reports
Perform regression testing when bugs are resolved
Communicate findings to technical and non-technical colleagues
Collaborate closely with other teams and management
Provide support and documentation

Hands-on experience with testing
SQL, Python, MongoDB, Linux and git familiarity increases your chances to be hired
Willingness to learn new things and enthusiasm for automated testing
Attention to detail, ability to multitask and work in extremely fast paced environment with minimal supervision
Good analytical and conceptual skills to understand complex technology
Great teammate with a ‘can do’ attitude and natural confidence with communication skills, while being fluent in English
While working on flexible schedule to be available between 14:00 - 20:00 during working days for direct interaction with the rest of the team
What is nice to have?
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and insight of software QA methodologies
Selenium, kubernetes, docker familiarity is a big plus
Test-driven Script development within an Agile/Scrum environment
Language skills
