We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager in the chemical industry.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth.

The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in expanding market presence and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team in developing strong customer relationships and closing deals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand the company's market share.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor activities.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to forecast future sales and set realistic targets.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product developments, and technological advancements in the chemical sector.
  • Train the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales management within B2B chemical / agriculture / pharma.
  • Understanding of chemical products, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
