The Global Location Services and Incentives Team (GLSI) focuses on the preparation of documentation for the notification of investment incentives to the European Commission, inclusive analysis of business and decision modeling. As part of the GLSI team with offices in Berlin, London, Bratislava or Vienna, you will evaluate effective and innovative business models for our customers, evaluate new market data, draft reports, and provide our customers with options for action.

Your opportunity

► Analyze historical financial and management accounts, financial forecasts, business plans, financial statements, annual reports and other information provided by our customers
► Revise, analyze and implementation complex financial issues, concepts and models as a basis for investment decisions
► Develop options for actions in strategic and operational decision-making processes with the help of multidimensional financial models and data analytics solutions, e.g. in the context of corporate business cases, Net Present Value or profitability assessments
► Carry out and review company’s valuations, Net Present Value, IRR, and ROCE/ROIC
► Draft reports with the findings
► Interpret and clearly consolidate analyzed information for deliverables
► Prepare supporting documents and participate in discussions with customers
► Assist with location evaluation and site assessment analysis using robust, flexible, and tailored processes

Your Responsibilities

► Perform in-depth analyses, assessment, and review of our customers’ financial models to assist with the preparation for the notification of the business cases to the European Commission.
► Assist with financial analyses and draft reports in Excel.
► Identify potential risks and weak spots linked to the financial models.
► Prepare presentations for and participate in technical workshops for our customers.
► Review the business cases of our customers and align them with the State Aid requirements.
► As a member of our team, you will be involved in large investment projects across Europe and will have the opportunity to work with large multinationals and foreign investors.

Skills and Prerequisites for Success

We are looking for a fresh graduate or a professional with 1 to 2 years of experience in the field who is eager to learn and wants to become a member of our multinational team. You will be based in Bratislava, however you need to be willing to travel for business purposes across the Europe.

Our requirements are:
► Excellent degree in economics, finance, math, or other technical field, ideally with a focus on corporate finance, industrial engineering, or business modelling
► Analytical, logical and critical thinking
► Enthusiasm and continuous learning mindset
► Attention to detail and precise approach
► Ability to form opinions and conclusions through the analysis of financial and non-financial information.
► Knowledge of basic finance and accounting terms
► Previous work experience in finance, strategy, economics, digital transformation, statistics, analytics, financial modeling or audit is an advantage
► Good Power Point and presentation skills
► Excellent communication skills in English. Official documentation including report drafting and board reports will be in English.
► Command of German is a plus
► Previous experience with Power BI / Tableau programs is an advantage
