Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are searching for an experienced System Backup Specialist who is eager to take on an active role in an Internationally Renowned IT company whose designed and developed applications serve over 45 million customers in 11 countries. By ensuring supported components are maintained and optimized for the essential quality of services, you will have the opportunity to take your professional IT career to the next level!

Main tasks:

Ensure that the backup success rate of our customers meets the expected Service Level.
Minimize the amount of unplanned downtime in the customer's production environment.
Be assigned to a shared customer environment and provide technical interface support.
Drive and execute the implementation/optimizations in the customer's infrastructure, especially backup infrastructure, to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. This includes the participation in technical projects, consulting, proactive capacity and availability management as well as the delivery of support services.

Skills in Unix/Windows OS.
Extensive and practical experience in Backup and Restore Administration as a second level or higher professional.
Skills in EMC-DELL NetWorker or HP DataProtector with the ability to sustain configurations.
Shows willingness to explore new technologies.
