Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a flexible, experienced Consultant, who will work on a Projects for our (foreign) Customers that need advice and help on how to use and/or implement our Product in order to meet their Business requirements.
The applicant needs to be able to understand and properly document Business requirements of the Customer, needs to be well-versed in the Product that he/she will provide advice on, needs to have strong communication and negotiation skills when working with the Customers.
Consultant needs to be willing and be ready to travel on occasional basis.
You will:
• Understand and document Business requirements
• Regularly communicate with Customers
• Perform GAP analysis during early phases of the Project
• Propose solutions and validate of these solutions with the Product Development team
• Support Pre-Sales initiatives of AFS alongside Sales team
• Perform Acceptance of Product improvements
• Document new/modified/removed Product improvements
• Create Product presentations and Training materials
• Perform User trainings
• Perform Product installations in the AFS hosting environment
• Assist the Customers during important Project stages (Blueprinting, Pre-Go-Live, Post-Go-Live)
• Work on tasks assigned by the Project Managers and report time accurately
• Work in international and multi-cultural team

• Understand the methodology of IT software business, ideally specifics of FMCG processes
• Analytical thinking in order to understand Business requirements well and formulate/document them clearly
• Ability to assertively discuss Business requirements with the Customers and internal Teams
• Concise and clear written and oral English and Slovak language skills
• University education (IT or technical specialization is an advantage)
• Experience with preparing High-level Functional specifications and Deep-level Technical specifications
• Ability to work independently on assigned Tasks, but as part of a Team when consulting Requirements with colleagues and different internal Teams
• Ability to manage time effectively, respond to Customers in timely and appropriate fashion
