Job description, responsibilities and duties

The European Alliance for Innovation; www.eai.eu is a community-driven organization devoted to empowering ICT innovation in Europe. As the largest of its kind EAI is expanding its operations in Central Europe in cooperation with the Slovak Technical University. Through its over a hundred events and conferences worldwide, EAI provides an environment for ICT innovation community to interact.
Conference content is published in form of Conference Book Proceedings (CBP). EAI is now seeking an Intern to assist the Publications team in Bratislava to support its publications activities. Qualified candidate will support collection of content, its verifying and publishing using EAI tools. Final proceedings are published in the European Union Digital Library (EUDL).
This role may be a starting point in your publications career with EAI, giving the intern the possibility to become a member of publications team, dealing with books, journals, indexing, authors of papers.

Specific Job responsibilities will include:
- work with internal softwares and prepare the documents for finalizing the conference proceedings
- support the editorial processes for the successful publication of content from EAI activities
- uploading of EAI conference proceedings in the European Union Digital Library (EUDL)
- communication with the authors and conference participants

- basic knowledge of Microsoft
