We in Etops are a very intensely cooperating team where every single person takes a complex responsibility for a client and/or projects from A-Z. Everyone in our team is key to our success - individually and as a team. Everyone matters. 

The Expense Analyst will be responsible for supporting the entire expense payments process. The Expense Analyst will be in contact with internal and external professionals and will work closely with team members in our client's other offices (Ireland, Switzerland, Luxembourg, USA).

Your role and responsibility

In this position you will be responsible for:

  • Processing of outgoing payments of all Funds related invoices received from various service providers/ vendors (payments administrators, legal vendors, tax advisors etc.
  • Send invoices to appropriate personnel internally, for approvals;
  • Track the status of pending payments;
  • Ensure all invoices are approved and paid within payment terms;
  • Allocate the invoice across the relevant Fund entities and Classes within those entities;
  • Instruct multi-currency payments through multiple Administrators;
  • Monitor service providers correspondence and answer queries;


Potential Job Functions:

  • Be actively involved in VAT return process
  • Preparing of various (ad/hoc and regular) reports for managers (Ageing report, AP statistics report etc.)
  • Fund Management and Performance fees administration

Your experience and profile

For the position at hand, we seek applicants with at least 1 years’ work experience and a Bachelor’s degree. The following factors will be important to ensure success in the role:

  • Demonstrates commitment, accuracy and strong attention to detail, particularly in a high-volume, fast-paced environment;
  • Initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Effective multi-tasker and time-manager;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Strong Microsoft Excel / Outlook skills;
  • Knowledgeable about funds and the process of maintaining general ledgers (would be an advantage).


Other Desired Skills/Attributes:

  • Flexibility;
  • Effective communication skills and strong problem-solving skills;
  • Fund Accounting experience a distinct advantage.
