Job description, responsibilities and duties

You will be part of the IT team, responsible for monitoring security risks, tracking incidents, and ensuring compliance with MiCA and DORA IT security standards.

Since our operations will officially start in 4-6 months, the initial engagement includes:
✔ Flexible working hours
✔ Consulting & advisory role with a minimum working hours and minimum monthly maintenance compensation fee
✔ Full-time involvement and compensation package from launch, leading MiCA and DORA IT compliance efforts

Key Responsibilities

Monitor & report security incidents (fraud, hacks, system issues).

Track transactions & identify suspicious activity.

Prepare basic reports for regulators when needed.

Work with the IT & compliance team to improve security.

Follow cybersecurity best practices and help prevent fraud.

What We’re Looking For

✔ Some experience or studies in IT security, cybersecurity, or compliance
✔ Interest in crypto, fintech, and risk management
✔ Basic knowledge of blockchain security & fraud detection tools (or willingness to learn)
✔ Fluent in English (Slovak is a plus)
✔ Knowledge of DORA & MiCA IT requirements – a big advantage
✔ Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to grow in a startup environment
