Job description, responsibilities and duties

Essity is looking for a new member of sales team on the position of Key Account Manager for Health & Medical Solution for Slovak market. The person will be fully responsible for winning, developing and maintaining business with specific Key Accounts and Potential Key Accounts, through the management of an appropriate cross-functional team, setting and meeting customer specific targets and plans and identifying business opportunities as well as securing achievement of sales targets.
The focus Key Account Customers are pharmaceutical distributors and wholesalers, pharmacy chains and other purchase groups.

Main Tasks
• Contribute to the development of, and implement, the Essity Health & Medical Solution sales and marketing strategy for the market/segment/channel
o Asses the business opportunities and risks connected with co-operation with KA customers
o Implement and develop Essity`s Key Account Management process and practices
o Elaborate and provide with sales volume and value forecasts for KA customers
• Prepare and implement Business Plans for Key Account Customers (terms and conditions, pricing and discounts, activity list and timing,etc.)
o Conduct negotiations with Key Account Customers based on Essity Health&Medical solution business strategy
o Execute sales plans by selected activities and support to achieve yearly and quarterly sales and financial objectives
• Develop a customer focused value proposition with a clear definition of the value received by the customer and the reward to Essity
o Carry out an analysis of the customer's market and business, focusing on customer needs that present opportunities for profitable business
o Map the customer's operational and purchasing processes
o Prepare the Key Account Plans for selected KA customers based on conducted business needs and opportunities
o Conduct joint planning sessions with the customer designed to agree common vision, strategy, goals and actions
o To act as a consultant to the customer, providing advice on the customer's business challenges and opportunities

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

• University education (Bachelor's degree /Master's degree)
• Proven experience in working with Distributors, Wholesalers or purchase groups
• Proven strong negotiations skills in complex business environment (financial and non-financial objectives)
• Ability to create strong relationship with customers by translating customers` needs into value proposition
• High level of analytical skills, planning and organizing
• Well organized, able to focus on several issues and priorities effectively
• Flexible with high level of initiative and ambition to achieve result
• Strong computer literacy (Excel advanced), preferably with SAP knowledge
• Flexible to travel among the CZ/SK
• Able to work individually with limited supervision
• Adaptable to a changing business environment
• High level of commitment, loyalty and dedication
• Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and English - Upper intermediate (B2)
• Driving license B
