Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Essity GHS PC plant in Gemerská Hôrka (Slovakia) is looking for a new management team member in the position of Innovation Manager.

Main Tasks and responsibilities
• Acts and behaves as a role model for safety and quality
• Responsible for creating and implementing innovation for a plant designed to result in significant savings or in increasing sale
• Be the first point of contact for all the activities linked with product, material and equipment changes
• Drives and coordinates the plant portfolio for all Innovation projects
• Drives and executes together with local stakeholders actions to optimize product/material/equipment utilization
• Owns Material changes to drive cost savings and market support activities
• Maintain a close cooperation with R&D, Technology and Markets to obtain input for new innovations and value creation opportunities
• Secure perfect launch projects execution respecting company standard processes to deliver projects success criteria

Additional Information
Salary - min 3 000 Eur gross/monthly as basic wage component + other components and benefits.
• 3 - 5 year experience in production environment with project management experience
• University degree in engineering or related field
• Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written, knowledge of Slovak is advantage
• Problem solving approach, ability to work methodically and be practical and logical in implementation
• High level of analytical skills, planning and organising
• Drive performance and demonstrates urgency
• Build trust in an open environment by involving others and building effective teams
• Drive a winning attitude and show perseverance
• Able to work individually with limited supervision
• Flexible with high level of initiative and ambition to achieve result

University education (Bachelor's degree)
