Machine Learning Researcher

We are looking for a passionate Machine Learning Researcher to join our Technology Division.

What does working as a Machine Learning researcher entail?

Is responsible for the research and development of machine learning based technologies used for detection of malicious threats. The position involves prototyping machine learning based models and really big data analysis. It is dedicated to developing and maintaining executable (binary) code classifiers built on top of the cutting-edge technologies where classifiers leverages multiple data sources and information. We got space for people which want to contribute more in research field as well as for people which want to work more on production part.

Where does Machine Learning researcher work?

You will be a part of Core Research and Development Department located in Bratislava, member of Automation and Artificial Intelligence team. Our team works with the large amount of data, hence a part of the team works on diverse automation tasks mostly related to alleviate the work load on Infiltration analysts and Detection Engineers working in Security Research Laboratory, others are leveraging various techniques, including machine learning, to provide users with the maximum degree of protection, it is necessary to continually find improvement for our systems in order to adapt to ever-changing threats.

Are you cut out for the job?

Since this is dedicated research (or applied research) position we are looking for people with university education, Master's or higher degree in the machine learning related field - people with Data Scientist, Computer Science, Data Mining or Statistics background are welcome, ideally with previous work in the field.

Position is also suitable for experienced software engineers that have at least some experience with machine learning or data science.

Programming level enough to create prototypes in Python or C/C++ but also to work on projects in our production machine learning infrastructure. Advantage is to have experiences with so called Big Data technologies and at least basic understanding of computer/network security.

And last but not least, to keep pace with the bad guys you should have a healthy appetite for continuing to learn new things. The appetite for drinks, beers, food and great time will be saturated on several off-site teambuilding activities and annual Christmas party and big company party with cover name 'Zranica'.
