Senior Pricing Specialist has a deep understanding of organization, dependencies tools and processes and is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive revenue growth and market share.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES


  • Oversee preparation and implementation of the pricing strategy to ensure competitive and profitable pricing models.
  • Increase sales of ESET's product portfolio by recommending pricing based on pricing analysis, competitive analysis, and licensing metrics.
  • Lead qualitative and quantitative research projects and related analysis.
  • Propose and hold responsibility for new and revise existing pricing levels for standard and new products, distribution channels and OEM partnerships.
  • Propose pricing for marketing/pricing campaigns.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and promotional strategies, making adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders in Segment, Sales, Operations and Business Systems to evaluate and implement pricing recommendations.
  • Oversee preparation and implementation of the pricing strategy to ensure competitive and profitable pricing models.
  • Participate in discount management process, evaluate special promotions, and update discounting policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement pricing policies.
  • Collaborate with segment and channel teams to develop pricing policies and strategies for individual markets.
  • Lead and support assigned projects and programs.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for senior management.
  • Input pricing data into the company tools and systems.
  • Plan and coordinate the work of colleagues in accordance with superior's instructions, be responsible for the performance of the tasks entrusted to it in accordance with established procedures and processes and prioritize tasks of colleagues in order to meet established objectives and achieve required results.

MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Propose and implement improvements of processes and work procedures within the team.
  • Cooperate with immediate superior on financial planning and remain continuously updated on spending of funds.
  • Share relevant information and support communication within the team and with other organizational units.
  • Set clear and realistic goals and expectations towards work performance within prescribed deadlines.
  • Manage, plan and delegate work to team members and be responsible for performance of assigned tasks in accordance with established procedures and processes.
  • Provide regular feedback and evaluate work performance of direct subordinates (e.g. probation period, definite period, assessment interviews).
  • Take timely and efficient measures to ensure high-quality and timely work output of the team and its members.
  • Ensure optimum planning of human resources, their substitutability and be responsible for attendance of team members. Cooperate with direct superior on planning for personnel and organizational changes.
  • Cooperate on new employee recruitment process.
In cooperation with the employee prepare their personal development plans and ensure relevant development and educational activities.
  • Actively look for and exploit opportunities for own development and education and share experience and professional knowledge with others.

REQUIREMENTS


  • University degree (Bc. or higher)
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a pricing role
  • People management/team leadership experience is very nice to have, however not mandatory
  • Fluent English both spoken and written (B2-C1)
