Senior UX Specialist

As a Senior UX Specialist, you will shape how millions of people experience ESET digital products every day. You’ll ideate and lead UX strategies across 200+ markets in scalable and customer-centric way, turn real user insights into practical solutions, and help teams build simpler, clearer, and more effective digital experiences that boost Customer Experience. This role is for someone who enjoys ownership, efficient collaboration, and making a real impact through thoughtful user-centered design and out-of-the-box thinking .

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify UX opportunities based on business needs, growth ambitions and understanding of ESET digital strategies and ideate actionable UX solutions and delivery roadmaps that is aligned with business goals, consider implementation challenges and boost CX.
• Act as the “voice of the user” across internal teams, market stakeholders, and external agencies, facilitating discussions and workshops, building alignment, and driving progress without formal people management.
• Lead the creation and execution of UX strategy across more than 200 markets, keep it practical, and translate it into an actionable UX roadmap that stakeholders can understand and trust.
• Use proven UX methods and tools to guide user-centered design from idea to launch.
• Lead UX research initiatives (qualitative and quantitative, online/in-person, in-house or via agencies), define hypotheses and research plans, create scripts, support recruiting, evaluate results, and turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Translate user insights into information architecture, interaction design, prototypes, and implementation-ready specifications. Prototype using standard UX tools and, when useful, also via CMS or basic HTML/CSS to iterate quickly.
• Validate user requirements before, during, and after implementation in an iterative/agile way, collaborating closely with delivery teams and using data to guide decisions.
• Own and evolve key scalable UX assets (customer journeys, personas, IA, interaction patterns, usability and accessibility practices, inputs into UI library/design system), and support their adoption across markets.
• Co-create ESET security products with a strong focus on complete user journeys and digital touchpoints.
• Work closely with designers, developers, and marketers across teams and countries to improve usability, conversion, and performance.
• Own and maintain UX documentation and guidelines in an organized way for a global audience, and provide training/mentoring as a UX subject matter expert when needed.
• Manage parts of the UX budget (tools, systems, research, agency support) to ensure the team has what it needs to deliver.

Contribute creatively and methodically to product and system design.

What we’re looking for:

• Senior-level UX experience (typically 5+ years) and a strong portfolio with end-to-end work.
• Strong research skills and the ability to turn insights into shipped outcomes.
• Experience with IA, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, and accessibility
• Proven ability to lead topics, facilitate, and manage stakeholders; high ownership, independence, and prioritization skills.
• Fluent English for daily collaboration in a global environment.

Nice to have:

• Experimentation and measurement experience (analytics, A/B testing, UX success metrics).
• Hands-on CMS and basic HTML/CSS.
• Experience in a larger organization and/or agile/SAFe delivery.
