IT Business Analyst

We are looking for an IT Business Analyst to join our team at ESET. In this role, you will analyze and validate stakeholders' business needs and help define how best to fulfill them through technical solutions.

As part of our dynamic product development environment, you will contribute to the delivery of new features and enhancements across our flagship products—such as ESET PROTECT platform, ESET HOME platform, ESET HOME Security products, ESET Endpoint Security products—serving both business and consumer customers. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of tasks, from licensing systems to cutting-edge security features.

Our team has played a key role in delivering high-impact features including the ESET Home platform, ESET PROTECT platform, Anti-Theft, Parental Control, Password Manager, and platforms for business customers. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the experience of millions of users worldwide.

What You'll Do

· Act as a key liaison between internal customers (primarily the product management department) and software development teams.
· Elicit and analyze requirements from stakeholders, identifying gaps, risks, and potential issues.
· Collaborate with UX designers, architects, developers, and product owners to define both conceptual and technical solutions.
· Create clear, structured specifications using user stories, supported by UML diagrams and other modeling techniques to ensure accurate implementation.
· Work in an Agile environment as part of a cross-functional discovery and delivery team.

What We’re Looking For

· University degree (preferably in IT, Business Informatics, or related field).
· Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
· Analytical mindset and a structured approach to problem-solving.
· Passion for technology and improving user experiences.

Nice to Have

· Basic knowledge of UML, experience with Enterprise Architect, Jira, and Confluence.
· Understanding of software development methodologies and lifecycle.
· Familiarity with Agile frameworks, ideally SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
· Previous experience working on cybersecurity or SaaS products.
