We are looking for a Junior Writer to join and grow in our team and who will contribute to building Global PR campaigns and support the award-winning cybersecurity blog WeLiveSecurity.com

Your main focus will be on security: technology, best practice, business environment, news, and other developments that will allow you to write/edit content about the latest cybersecurity incidents, technologies, regulations, standards and malware discoveries.

Developing further, you will engage and develop under both the Global PR Content Manager and the WLS Senior Editor in English, as well as colleagues from other language branches, Social Media, Marketing and external contributors. The diversity of topics will prepare you for further opportunities in Public Relations, Marketing and Security Awareness.

Your main agenda will be:

- Support the company in growing our audience (buyers, journalists, analysts, legislators).
- Report on the latest security trends in the cybersecurity and wider tech industry.
- Provide support for security awareness topics in our content publication calendar.
- Track current news about IT Security for daily/weekly coverage.
- Ensure new articles/press releases are written according to guidelines.
- Study and employ current SEO practices to improve content performance.
- Help maintain relevant communications platforms via CMS systems.
- Support a limited number of high value PR and/or Content Marketing campaigns leveraging WLS’s strong position on the cybersecurity content landscape.

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses.
