We are looking for a bookworm with deep-dive attitude, analysis and attention to detail, able to challenge the "status quo". You will be subject-matter expert in specific (sometimes complex) topics and your expertise will vary across technical content, creative content and SEO content.

The ultimate goal is to deliver such marketing content that addresses the needs, questions and pain points of our enterprise and channel target audiences, customized per vertical and per respective buyer persona. 80% of our B2B programs and sponsored events are marketing content dependent.

At this position you will:
• Conduct research to enhance the content. This may also include identifying relevant topics, fact-checking, and analyzing sources to generate information.
• Cooperate with various teams from research and product management through business segments, global PR to technical education
• Work closely with Global Marketing Programs team to prepare Content Marketing Plan/Strategies for different business segments and in line with their goals and projects (brand awareness/ lead-generation/ nurturing/ CLM, etc.), while employing SEO analysis and strategies.
• Monitor competition and their content assets, tactics and strategies, with the aim of inspiration and implementation.
• Brief and feedback internal and external content suppliers (writers) in preparing content assets – giving inputs such as detailed brief with goals, key message/CTA, key topic, topic angle, draft outline, format and length, sources of content to work with, etc.
• Regularly manage delivery of various types of marketing content such as white papers, articles, blogposts, use-cases, guides, webinars, podcasts, presentations, case studies, scripts and more.
• Work with the Creative Studio and other teams in the production of additional formats (derivates) to the content created, e.g.: infographics, print collateral, brochures, videos, vlogs and more. Desired content needs to be clear, relevant, attractive, engaging and informative.
• Keep existing nurturing programs up to date (i.e. reviewing 1-2 times per year their assets if they are still relevant)
• Maintain a repository or library of all generated content in a structured way
• Define and enforce a strategy for content sharing between ESET offices internally as well as with partners or others (media, resellers etc.).

Personality requirements and skills

We welcome candidates with:
• Min. 2 years of experience on similar/related marketing position or in journalism/PR
• Advanced English language (C1 ideally)
• IT/Industry background or interest in IT
• Ability to research and consume big volume of content with different topics and turn it into ideas for actionable marketing content suitable per segment
• Project management skills and ability to coordinate stakeholders
• Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel) required
• Direct/Indirect experience with Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premier as well as multimedia/video production experience is a plus
• Content Management Systems (Drupal, WordPress, or similar) is a plus
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Patience, perseverance and drive
• High commercial awareness/sense of business opportunity/business reasoning
• Excellent analytical and communication skills


Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD.
