HR at ESET is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner. The position is located in Bratislava. This role will be responsible for a variety of human resource responsibilities that include recruitment, new talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and talent management, reporting and any other human resource issue.

- Acts as a single point of contact for the employees and managers in the business unit in people management agenda to help with any unresolved topics.
- Builds a strong business relationship with the respective division and transfers HR requests and solutions to/from the business unit.
- Possesses a deep knowledge of the business unit, key employees and business processes in order to facilitate changes and HR processes.
- Consults and proposes decisions in HR related topics in line with HR strategy, budget, internal policies and priorities of the business units.
- Coordinates and executes recruitment process regarding preparation of internal and/or external postings, advertisements, websites, outside agencies, search firms, universities, campaigns, and any other source to recruit qualified candidates.
- Prescreens, interviews, prepares job offers to internal and external candidates according to hiring plan, budget and within a preferred time range.
- Conducts Exit Interviews in order to capture the reasons and motivation behind the employment termination.
- Leads, assists, or supports bigger projects or teams responsible to meet objectives of the whole HR department.
- Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in the people management.
- Leads the change management projects and manages the HR related internal and external communications.
- Cooperates in identification and preparation of development plans for the key employees and high potential employees.
- Identifies employees ready for the promotion and rotates best talents across different functions in the organization.
- Designs career and succession plans for key talents and other job positions to ensure employee retention.
- Challenges the organizational structure of the internal client and proposes changes in order to create effective and sustainable organization.

- Degree with emphasis in Human Resources, Psychology or Business Administration, or any other related field
- Minimum of 5 years of HR BP experience - proven experience in various HR areas of expertise
- Labour Code knowledge skills

- Excellent oral and written communication skills (in Slovak and English Language)

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.

What started as the brainchild of a few friends has evolved into the most valuable international brand of any Slovak company. Today ESET’s NOD32 technology protects over 100 million users across the world.

This success did not come overnight. The company’s global success and growth was given a boost in 1998 with its first “VB100” award from the prestigious Virus Bulletin magazine. Since then, we’ve received this accolade more than 100 times.

Today, over 1,600 employees around the world drive the company’s success – a telling increase from 3 in 1987 and 135 in 2006. Almost 900 of them are based in Slovakia, the home of ESET headquarters.
