What does working as a Python/C# Software Engineer entail?
Your job will to work on, even coordinate, tasks related to fronted applications and related backend services that are able to go through hundreds of thousands samples a day. We do work on internal tools that help our colleagues go through samples faster and more effectively. Group them. Filter them. Analyze them. Significant part of this job will be working on autonomous services with complicated architecture operating in backend making its own decisions based on gathered information directly influencing products installed around the globe.
Where does Python/C# Software Engineer work?
You will be a part of Core Research and Development Department located in Bratislava, member of Automation and Artificial Intelligence team. Our team works with the large amount of data, hence a part of the team works on diverse automation tasks mostly related to alleviate the work load on Infiltration analysts and Detection Engineers working in Security Research Laboratory, others are leveraging various techniques, including machine learning, to provide users with the maximum degree of protection, it is necessary to continually find improvement for our systems in order to adapt to ever-changing threats.
Technologies used
C# .NET, Python, My(SQL), BigData (Hadoop/Impala/…), Git, BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence (C/C++ are welcomed additions).

Are you cut out for the job?
We need good combination of good Python and C# programmer with great database knowledge. We work in international teams, so we require you to have a good knowledge of English. One of your jobs will be also coordination of long term tasks for assigned projects and cooperating people. University degree in computer science, software engineering or related area is really welcomed advantage.
