Global PR (GPR) Social Media Representative supports Digital PR Representative by the Digital PR Strategy development, communications and programs. The aim is to build and boost the brand awareness within the online community, influencers and across social media. This role supports development and preparation of overall strategy towards the global social media channels, covering B2C and B2B communication.
Advices, guides work and cooperate with brand team, marketing team, sales team and other functions to intergrade Social Media communication into their planning. Identifies new opportunities for Social Media Communication and activities. Ensures that Social Media Communication Plan is kept globally and in all regions.

Job Duties:
- Social Media PR/Content Strategy Development in cooperation with Digital PR Representative in line with Global PR Strategy and Company Goals including Project (Activity) plan for B2C and B2B segments
- Building the online community and boosting the brand awareness - Creating and growing Company’s relations with all defined target audiences and media through blogs, forums, influencers, social media and any other
- Social media daily content execution, post scheduling & publishing (Presence of the the Company through social media)
- Creation and management the relationships with specific IT professionals and influencers across a wide variety of online platforms and communities
- Creation of social media content packages for partners/regions in line with Global PR Strategy / Campaigns
- Service providing to internal partners: Social media content creation for HQ projects/product launches/brand/awards campaigns/segments; Reporting to internal partners
- Social Media Monthly Report Preparation per Channel on Global Level
- Systematically social media performance tracking and results report monitoring
- Further improvement in social media content/performance based on the actual results
- Support Senior PR Manager, Digital PR Representative and PR team with PR guidelines (internal, external)

Information about the selection process

- Background in Communication and PR with specialization on social media platforms or communities in relation generating the leads, building the community and boosting the brand awareness
- Understanding the technology, web, mobile and social media
- 3 years of experiences in PR, community management, social media or online communication management
- Working with diverse groups of people
- Well organized and structured with deep understanding of all communication disciplines and the ability to work

Brief description of the company

The beginnings of ESET date back to 1987, when two young programming enthusiasts, Peter Paško and Miroslav Trnka, wrote a program for the detection of one of the world’s first computer viruses. They did not know that they had created one of the most successful antivirus programs in the world – dubbing it NOD. In 1992, together with their mutual friend Rudolf Hrubý, they formally established ESET.

What started as the brainchild of a few friends has evolved into the most valuable international brand of any Slovak company. Today ESET’s NOD32 technology protects over 100 million users across the world.

This success did not come overnight. The company’s global success and growth was given a boost in 1998 with its first “VB100” award from the prestigious Virus Bulletin magazine. Since then, we’ve received this accolade more than 100 times.

Today, over 1,600 employees around the world drive the company’s success – a telling increase from 3 in 1987 and 135 in 2006. Almost 900 of them are based in Slovakia, the home of ESET headquarters.
