PR Content Writer

This is a unique opportunity located at the global Headquarters of ESET, Europe’s largest cyber security company. The Content Writer I role includes attractive career progression opportunities in public relations and beyond.



The PR Content Writter is responsible for developing compelling written content for external communications while providing communications support for Global PR initiatives that boost the company‘s communications footprint in relation to Regional PR Offices and thus to partners. The individual in this role will build content publishing properties and develop new collaboration structures that help grow ESET‘s communications footprint (quantitatively) and improve the sharing of content (qualitatively) within the Global Organization.


This occurs via provision of Internal support for:

• The delivery of high quality PR assets including Corporate Blogs, Press Releases, Social Media posts and other public communications
• Administration of the Typo3 CMS system management, and implementation of ESET’s Global PR content.
• Support for crisis communications (drafting/editing/consulting on text, crisis moderator)
• Support for PR Content Writer II, and Global Brand Copywriters

External Collaboration & Support for:



Stakeholders (Global Strategic Marketing, Global Marketing Programs, SMB, MSP) engagement on pressing B2B topics – primarily SMB and MSP

• Re-purposing of PR, Sales and Marketing and Research content to be released on the Corporate blog and Social Media – to provide initial communications opportunities
• Increase relevant bog materials for partners – largest benefits to small and mid-sized partners with lowest capacity
• Support/on-boarding content from PR Agency Writers

PR projects and programs (tasks and programs)

• Builds and refines functions of ESET Corporate Blog and Newsroom to increase reach and utility of the platform and content
• Engages management and public facing stakeholders (Content Prioritization Working Group) to solicit and prioritize the creation of globally relevant content pipeline including press releases, articles and blogs and other touch points
• Engages B2B stakeholders to solicit and prioritize and create globally relevant content directly sourced from existing Research & Awareness + Sales & Marketing materials
• Influences the Global PR strategy to identify, cover and close B2B content gaps – delegate further content development tasks to PR Content Writer 2, Global Brand Copywriters or PR Agency Writers

Media Relations

• Works to map Corporate Blog content to Global/Region PR’s core mandate of building media relations and/or content that can be of use to supporting those relationships
• Works with ESET’s web and online team to optimize core content – mapping to best SEO practices while working to share this information to regions, partners and collaborative parties
• Share best practice and build synergies among Corporate Blog, Newsroom and other owned channels to boost ESET’s wider communications footprint

Reports and analysis management

• Requests and develops evolving reporting architecture for ESET Corporate Blog and Newsroom
• Supports the distribution of PR and research derivate content to Regional PR teams and their partners
• Reports on qualitative and quantitative growth and content wins across ESET’s owned properties in support of product launches and thematic campaigns
