Erste Group IT International (EG IT INT) is the IT service provider of Erste Group, supplying solutions to all entities. It provides development, implementation and integration as well as operation of group-wide solutions. Aimed at offering the best service at the best price, EG IT INT plays a key strategic role within Erste Group.
Join the department “Data Foundation “ (DF) and be in a team with Experts for Data Modelling, MetaData, Automation Workflow Experts and ETL-Experts. DF delivers tools, frameworks and methods for data-processing and reporting and DF is responsible for the tool-stack and tool-strategy and is single point for technical topics. This team is contributing to multiple Business Intelligence transformation projects.
Your Tasks

- You connect to people and data sources and recognize and prioritize value for the organization
- You create a data infrastructure – such as views, stored procedures, ETL usage, real time/ streaming data integration
- You analyze and interpret data and data flows
- You interact with external suppliers and in-house operation teams and you have the ability to identify opportunities to improve existing processes

We seek somebody who:

• has 3+ years’ experience within Agile teams, implementing professional software engineering practices and experience in implementing an automated CI/CD environment leveraging DevOps best practices
• has 3+ years’ experience with state of the art Data warehouse technologies and methods
• has well understanding for technical layers, architecture, generators, Data models and warehousing and business intelligence processes
• has 3+years’ experience in creating logical, physical and conceptual data models in the banking/insurance industry and hands-on-experience with data modeling technology such as Erwin or PowerDesigner
• has working knowledge in the creation of data infrastructure - such as views, stored procedures, ETL usage, real-time/streaming data integration
• has the ability to analyze and interpret data and data flows
• Is able to interact with external suppliers and InHouse Operations teams as well
• has the ability to identify opportunities to improve existing processes
• has preferable knowledge/experience with Oracle and ODI (Oracle Data Integrator)
• has preferable knowledge/experience with JAVA SDK.
• is proficient in English (advanced C1 level), additional languages are an advantage
• is willing to work from our Vienna and our Bratislava office
