Oracle developer for Group DWH

As a part of BRCC (Business intelligent and Reporting Competence Centre) we are looking for people who join the team of backend developers, analysts and designers for Group Core Data Warehouse. The team works on regular update of dedicated solutions and provides 2nd and 3rd level support during data processing and reporting periods. On the top of that we are extending our responsibilities to newly built Solutions.


Tasks and responsibilities:


A Senior Oracle Back-End developer is responsible for DWH and BI solutions ETL development, deployment and monitoring. He works with the team designing the ETL process, exception handling and ETL processes scheduling (workflow) definition and setup.

A candidate is expected to have experience in designing, developing and deploying ETL mappings and workflows, providing technical guidance to other staff resources and have experience in a variety of software development concepts and practices.


Tasks:

• Participation on Software Design Specification preparation (SDS)
• Interpretation of SDS to understand mapping and transformational requirements
• Designing, development and test ETL processes
• Designing and set up of ETL workflow/process
• Deployment packages preparation
• Optimize runtimes of existing ETL processes and new programs to fit in a desired time frame
• Effort estimation for assigned tasks and participation on the DWH and BI releases planning
• Participation on 3rd level support for our operations team
• Provision of support to test teams in their work by fixing and solving bugs
• Creation and maintain proper technical documentation to ensure the quality of the software
• Working within schedule of DWH and BI agreed releases for the solution
• Participating on research projects, exploring and evaluating new technologies
