The Data Modeling Department is a newly created department, part of the Data Services (DAS) Division. The Department is responsible for the definition and enhancement of the Data Model and related interfaces for the newly built Group Data Warehouse, which plays fundamental role in the new “data and application ecosystem” necessary for group steering and regulatory functions (Controlling, Accounting, Risk, Statutory reporting, ALM).

Your tasks:

  • Performing analysis of business requirements and non-functional requirements
  • Mapping business requirements to Conceptual Data Model
  • Enhancing the Conceptual Data Model based on requirements
  • Creating and enhancing diagrams (technical-, business and use case diagrams)
  • Resolution of model related issues, bug fixing (e.g. JIRA tickets)
  • Definition of Interfaces on Common Semantic and Application Semantic layers
  • Performing structural business mapping, a definition of transformation from Core to Semantic layer and application interfaces

We guarantee a competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications. By law we are obliged to advertise minimal salary which is 2 800 EUR gross/month with possibility to be higher depending on lenght of your experience and your professional skills.

Osobnostné predpoklady a zručnosti

  • Solid Business Analyst experience
  • Overall understanding of banking business (e.g. what is transfer pricing) and knowledge in banking steering functions (e.g. accounting, controlling, risk Management, asset-liability management, etc.)
  • 5+ years experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Area and/or transformation projects
  • Knowledge regarding existing and new regulations, e.g. IFRS-requirements with banking focus (e.g. IFRS 7, IFRS 9, etc.)
  • Data modelling experience (Dimensional Modeling, Data Vault) is an advantage
  • Experience with BI Reporting solutions (focus on Statutory requirements)
  • Good problem solving skills and the ability to work parallel on several projects
  • Team-player with good communication skills
  • Fluent written & spoken English (German is a plus)
