Job description, responsibilities and duties
Erste Group IT International (EG IT INT) provides development and operations of group-wide IT solutions for the international banking business and therefore plays a strategic role within Erste Group. We operate offices in Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic with more than 850 employees.
The team in Bratislava is responsible for the operations and 2nd level support of third-party treasury systems, used for trading, back-office processing, risk calculation, accounting and reconciliation.
To complement the team we are looking for a Junior Solution Specialist / Technical Analyst who wants to grow into this responsible position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the 2nd level support of a third-party software
* Regular execution of the regression test suite as well as review and discussion of the results
* Facilitate deployments, upgrades, software installations and environment maintenance
* Log, prioritize, analyze and coordinate resolution of incoming incidents and problems
* Communicate with business, developers, business analysts and technical infrastructure personnel (mainly in English)

* Good technical skills within Linux environments; ideally including scripting/automation experience and know-how of SQL/Oracle databases
* Committed, reliable and motivated to continuously learn
* Strong interest in treasury business and desire to work in an international environment dealing with complex financial products
* Professional experience in application management or support of a client-server application (best case in any treasury system, e.g. Calypso, Murex, SimCorp, Kondor or similar)
* Basic knowledge about test approaches and test automatization
* Strong written and oral command of English (minimum B2/C1)
* Willingness to travel between Bratislava and Vienna (one day per week) and have on-call duties
* Committed, reliable and motivated to continuously learn
