Job description, responsibilities and duties
George is the digital banking hero to over 3 million European customers, combining design, technology and openness. Born and raised in the George Labs of Erste Group and the Digital Banking division of Erste Group IT, we are designers and developers, analysts and engineers, product owners and product managers, architects, writers, coaches, testers and, well, a few bankers. •5-8 years of experience crafting your professional designer skills across real projects
•Strong visual design skills and flair to solve abstract and ambiguous UX problems seamlessly
•An ability to work within an existing visual system and to create new, extensible patterns, but knows when and how to break out.
•Empathy enough to see where significant improvements to George UX can be made, then propose and lead the work towards implementation
•Full responsive-design street credibility, with some mobile app design skills thrown in
•Being highly conceptual, with a sense for visual aesthetics, able to focus on designs ready for production
•Embracing small team dynamics, challenge with charm, but also accept that shared learning and feedback is priceless
•Knowing how to use data and experimentation to back up your designs
•Having the nature to stand the heat, noise and criticism without losing your smile
•Being able to take your UX Designer voice to the people via blog post and conference engagements
•Showing us some technical understand and savvy
•Expressing your values and opinions in fluent English
