Job description, responsibilities and duties
Erste Group IT International (EG IT INT) provides development and operations of group-wide IT solutions for the international banking business and therefore plays a strategic role within Erste Group. We operate offices in Austria, Slovakia and Czech Republic with more than 850 employees.
The team in Bratislava is responsible for the operations and 2nd level support of third-party treasury systems, used for trading, back-office processing, risk calculation, accounting and reconciliation.
To complement the team we are looking for a Junior Solution Specialist who wants to grow into this responsible position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the operations and 2nd level support of a third-party software
• Participate in ensuring the 24/7 availability of the system as well as monitoring and optimizing the performance
• Facilitate deployments, upgrades, software installations and environment maintenance
• Act as single-point-of-contact for incidents (on call duty and/or shift) and process service requests from customers
• Log, prioritize, analyze and coordinate resolution of incoming incidents and problems
• Communicate with business, developers, business analysts and technical infrastructure personnel

• Good technical skills within Linux environments; ideally including scripting/automation experience and know-how of SQL/Oracle databases
• Strong written and oral command of English (minimum B2/C1)
• Willingness to travel between Bratislava and Vienna (approx. 10%)
