Job description, responsibilities and duties
Erste Group IT international is the key IT provider for Erste Group Bank.
As a part of BRCC (Business intelligent and Reporting Competence Centre) we are looking for people who join the team of backend developers, analysts and designers for Group Core Data Warehouse.
The team works on regular update of dedicated solutions and provides 2nd and 3rd level support during data processing and reporting periods.
On the top of that we are extending our responsibilities to newly built solutions.
Join the backend DWH team, cooperate with another DWH colleagues - specialist and take over following tasks on projects and solutions‘ operation:
* Being partner to BI processing and operational team, business other and other solutions in our DWH/BI environment
* Organization of team staff resources, and priorities, assigning and monitoring individual activities to consistently meet or exceed delivery objectives within designated project time lines.
* Technical leading a team of developers
* Assuring consistent and optimum maintenance and development of the solution by utilization of proper technologies and tools
* Being partner to analytical team
* Assuring DWH and BI agreed releases for the solution
* Assuring effective SDLC and maintenance of documentation

* Several years of experience in design, development, modification and testing of ETL processes for DWH and BI solutions
* Very good knowledge of the following tools and programming languages:
* 5 or more years of software development experience with Oracle databases
* 5 or more years of experience developing ETL processes against relational and dimensional/star-schema structures and experience developing ETL against denormalize and normalized data structures
* Fluent English - both verbal and written communication is precondition
* Very good knowledge of the following tools and programming languages:
- Oracle SQL and PL/SQL 11g and higher
- Oracle Data Integrator (just advantage)
- Oracle Apex (just advantage)
- Unix and JAVA scripting
* 5 or more years of software development experience with Oracle databases
* 5 or more years of experience developing ETL processes against relational and dimensional/star-schema structures and experience developing ETL against denormalize and normalized data structures
