Service and Project Controller

Drivers the processes around controlling and performance management related to services and projects considering their value-added from financial and strategic perspective. Manage the process around forecasting and budgeting and support in management of all relevant financial topics on company level.

Tasks and responsibilities

1. Service and Project Controlling
• Driving the service and project controlling process especially from financials perspective ensuring that all financials aspects are considered
• Evaluate the monthly financial reports and provide indication on potential issues relating to financials
• Ensure that the process for charging of service and project cost towards all customers from EGIT Int. is done in time and with appropriate information by comparing cost and revenues
• Support various stakeholders in identification of potential financial issues
• Drive the forecasting and budgeting process in close collaboration with divisional planners from different ITSAs (IT Service Areas)

2. Support for Project Manager and Contract Management team
• Support and advice project managers and contract managers in creation of contracts with different customers of EGIT Int.
• Provide guidance to project managers and contract managers in order to improve alignment with the established service and project controlling processes

3. Controlling oriented methods and tools
• Define methods, standards and tools for service and projects financial controlling
• Support SAP related processes and set-up in order to support financial management of projects (budgeting, reporting, budget release, close down).
• Ensure development and adoption of financial controlling oriented tools and ensure alignment and adaptation of service and project oriented decentralized controlling tools in order to support service and project portfolio financial and performance management.

4. Others
• Develop, describe and implement service and project controlling processes and performance management processes in EGIT Int.
• Support other team members – onboarding of new colleagues, support in difficult situations (e.g., how to deal with a certain situation based on experience already made).
• Conduct briefing discussions with middle and top management before decision meetings and ad hoc for special requests.
