The Vendor Contract Management Specialist is responsible for supporting overall contract management Erste Digital´s external suppliers, by supporting Business Linet as well as other departmentsin efficient elaboration and alignment of project & service contracts with local entities as well as the management of contracting process with global suppliers from quality assurance up to contract signing and initiation of invoicing of services. Identifying and managing improvement measures in this area, to achieve high business partner satisfaction is a further responsibility.This role will support the elaboration and alignment of related vendor contracts, especially with a focus on business and IT consulting services.

Your Tasks and responsibilities:

• Reviewing scope of contracts – Framework Agreements, License Agreements, Data Processing Agreements etc.
• Gathering the relevant information to elaborate and align consultancy services contracts from Business Line
• Elaboration of contracts based on templates in cooperation with Legal Department, Data Processing Officers and Business Line
• Processing the contract alignment workflow in the cuContract ( SAP tool for contracts)
• Single point of contact for vendors regarding contract negotiation
• Reporting regarding contractual and escalation status; electronic storage of signed contracts in the cuContract tool
• Responsibility for correct and timely conclusion of contracts
• Working in different internal tools such as DocuSign, Sharepoint or cuContract
• Communication/ negotiation of contractual terms with the vendors
• Providing advice and support for Business line in vendor management related topics

What should you bring with you:

• Affinity to exactness
• Ability to cope with time pressure occasionally during the year (e.g. year-end closing)
• University education, advantage if related to law
• At least 2-3 years of working experience, preferably in contract management
• Analytical and legal understanding
• Excellent spoken and written English is a must
• Excellent skills in MS Office
• Flexible regarding working hours and efforts

Others:

• Spoken and written skills in German are a clear advantage for this role
• Experience in IT and in banking sector or Legal education is an advantage as well
