Integration and Platforms Department is seeking an experienced Internal Development Platform Engineer to join its dynamic team. As a platform engineer at Erste Digital, you will have the unique opportunity to develop a platform from the ground up, driving technical excellence and operational efficiency across the organization. This role is pivotal in enhancing engineering practices and empowering our developers to achieve their best.

As an Android Developer for George, you will implement new features for the banking platform and when needed, change and extend existing features with refactoring. Your role is center-stage to the overall delivery process, assisting business analysts in specking new features, and working hand-in-hand with the design team to help create the best possible user experience. You live by the mantra: clean code is king - and developing top-quality mobile apps is in your DNA.

• Possess a robust foundation in Java with an emphasis on technical excellence
• Expertise in automation practices, including proficiency with CI/CD tools, and a strong command of DevOps tools such as Ansible and Terraform
• Well-versed in containerization platforms like Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes, enabling scalable and efficient deployment
• Experienced in utilizing observability tools for comprehensive logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting, including Prometheus and Grafana
• Proficient in managing and understanding relational databases, with a focus on PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with a diverse array of cloud products, adding versatility to your skill set
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and resolving technical issues
• Solid understanding and application of Agile methodologies and practices
• Effective communication and collaboration skills in English, at a minimum B2 level

• A competitive and performance-related salary dependent on your professional and personal qualifications is granted - we are obliged by law to quote the minimum wage of EUR 3000,- gross per month for this full time position.
