Test Engineer [project in biotechnology]

We are looking for new colleague who will be responsible for testing of SW (web application) for controlling scientific analytical instrument - performing manual and automated tests in agile environment. Our customer is market leader in analytical magnetic resonance instruments including NMR, EPR and preclinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). They deliver comprehensive range of research tools enabling life science, materials science, analytical chemistry, process control and clinical research.

Requirements:
• Manual and automated testing (50:50)
• At least theoretical knowledge about session based / exploratory testing
• Experiences with UI test automation / coding background (Java)
• Experience with GIT / BitBucket/Jira & PostgreSQL
• Good communication skills
• Analytical and methodical working style
• Think Outside The Box
• Willingness to Learn New Technologies
• Fluent in English

A plus is:
• German language
• Test automation tool - Rational functional tester (IBM)
• Test management - Rational quality manager (IBM)
• Rational team concert (IBM) - managing stories, synchronized with Jira
• Scripting
• Windows console
