Python developer in system engineering domain

You will join new agile team in Bratislava and into a fast-growing project for our Swiss customer, leader in medical diagnostics. The development will be focused on automated testing of secured/hardened Linux packages and configurations. Your first task will be to upgrade scripts and modules from Debian Jessie to Stretch. You will put great emphasis on high quality code standards as continuous integration, test automation, performance, maintainability and stability of the solution.

You will be responsible for:
• Implementation of Python modules for automated testing of Debian packages functionality and configuration
• Development and maintenance of Debian packages using Bash scripting according to specific requirements
• Testing functionality and configuration in Linux containers
• Support customer in testing on staging and development environments
• Effort estimation and solution design for specific package requirements
• Active participation in SCRUM meetings with rest of the team (3 people)

Must have:
• Programming skills in Python programming language
• Experience with Linux

A plus is experience with:
• Experience with unit-test development in Python
• Experience in Bash scripting
• Experience with Git
