Accounts Payable Accountant – ERP Software

This position would suit someone with the following background/experience as an: Accountant, Accounting Clerk, Billing Clerk, and Billing Specialist

The Role:
As an Accounts Payable Accountant at Epicor you will be responsible for the processing of accounts payable which include coding invoices, supplier statement reconciliation, processing payments via bacs and dealing with suppliers and other business units in the company.

Responsibilities
• New suppliers and employee set up based on all required information and manager’s approval.
• Processing supplier invoices and credit notes, coding them and matching to purchase orders, obtaining appropriate approvals from various department managers.
• Preparing, processing and raising payments in the bank based on a payment schedule, including adhoc payments when required.
• Being responsible for payment allocations.
• Processing employee expenses, raising the payments.
• Assisting with fixed assets processing.
• Preparation and analyses of ad hoc reports.
• Assisting with the accounts payable close process and with accruals reports.
• Ensuring the accounts payable internal control processes are followed by the agreed closure timetable and the associated documentation is kept up to date.
• Reconciling to supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries.

Must have Skills/Experience
• University education (Bachelor's degree) or equivalent education/experience.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
• MS applications (Windows, Word & Excel, Outlook) usage required.
• Analytical thinking with strong focus on detail.
• Team-player, with excellent communication, interpersonal and organization skills.
• Quick learner, flexible and self-motivated driven individual.
Education Level:
• University education (Bachelor's degree)
• University education (Master's degree)
Desirable skills and experience but not essential
• Other European languages are an advantage but not essential eg: Hungarian, Polish, Russian.
• Experience in accounting field is an advantage.
• Experience in the Software industry beneficial.
• General understanding of finance accounting beneficial.
