IT Application Engineer - Java

IT Application Engineer

POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Development of new applications supporting various processes of trading with energy commodities (mainly in Java programming language)
• Active participation on design of new functionalities, application architecture and integration withing the current applications portfolio
• Administration and development of the current applications portfolio
• Resolving of production issues

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• University degree (Bc. or higher) in IT field
• Experience with Java applications (Java EE, Spring framework, Swing incl.) and/or other external interfaces incl. Web Services
• Experience with applications integration (Apache Camel, RabbitMQ, Web Services)

Experience with GiT

• Administration of WildFly server
• Experience with SQL and Oracle a Casandra db
• Experience with SW upgrade/lift and shift or implementation (s) is a plus
• Fluent English, another European language is an advantage (German prefer.)

Strong self-motivation

• The ability to quickly understand requirements and business needs
• Experience with energy market projects is a plus
